Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand vs Wholesale Gorillafor Shopify (2026)
Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand and Wholesale Gorilla, while both listed under 'Sourcing options' in the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different business models. Inkedjoy is a Print-on-Demand (POD) app that focuses on enabling merchants to easily create and sell custom-designed products without needing to manage inventory or fulfillment. Its strength lies in its user-friendly design tools, custom branding services (even without minimum order quantities), and a wide product catalog. It aims to simplify the process of starting a branded POD business by handling the printing, packaging, and shipping aspects. Wholesale Gorilla, on the other hand, is a B2B wholesale solution designed to extend an existing Shopify store with wholesale capabilities. It allows merchants to offer tiered pricing, net payment terms, custom shipping options, and other features tailored to wholesale customers. The app emphasizes features like order automation, customer management, and scalable pricing tiers designed for businesses growing wholesale operations. While both apps share the 'Sourcing options' category, they appeal to businesses at different points in the supply chain and offer fundamentally distinct functionalities.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to enter the world of custom-designed product sales without the burden of inventory management, Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demand appears to be the stronger choice. Its 5-star rating and focus on simplifying the POD process make it attractive. However, for established Shopify stores aiming to tap into the B2B wholesale market, Wholesale Gorilla offers a more robust suite of tools tailored to wholesale pricing, customer management, and order processing. The higher review count suggests it has been extensively used in the field.
While Inkedjoy excels at streamlining product creation and drop shipping, Wholesale Gorilla is designed for businesses requiring features such as net terms, quantity breaks, and customer-specific pricing. If a merchant is solely focused on expanding their retail business with POD items, Inkedjoy is the recommended option; otherwise, Wholesale Gorilla is the better bet for those targeting wholesale clients.
