InPost – oficjalna aplikacja vs Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)for Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between 'InPost – oficjalna aplikacja' and 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)' face a choice between a carrier-specific integration and a general-purpose local delivery and pickup solution. 'InPost – oficjalna aplikacja' aims to provide complete integration with InPost's services in Poland, including Paczkomat, Kurier, and Paczka w Weekend, enabling merchants to manage InPost shipments directly within Shopify. Conversely, 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)' focuses on enabling flexible local pickup and delivery scheduling, catering to merchants looking to offer convenient local fulfillment options to their customers. The core difference lies in their scope: InPost's app is geographically limited and focused on a single carrier, while 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)' offers broader functionality for local fulfillment, suitable for various businesses, notably restaurants. 'InPost – oficjalna aplikacja' caters specifically to businesses heavily reliant on InPost for shipping within Poland, providing features like label generation and shipment tracking. Our Verdict
If a Shopify merchant is primarily focused on utilizing InPost services within Poland, then 'InPost – oficjalna aplikacja' is the more suitable choice, despite its lower rating and review count. However, merchants need to be aware of the app's requirements (Shopify Advanced or Carrier-Calculated Shipping). On the other hand, 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)' is the superior option for merchants needing a comprehensive solution for managing local pickup and delivery services, particularly those in the restaurant industry or those operating across multiple locations, regardless of the carrier used for delivery.
Given the significantly higher rating and review volume of 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)', it demonstrates greater user satisfaction and a proven track record. For most merchants seeking a general-purpose delivery and pickup solution, 'Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)' is the recommended choice. However, for merchants with very specific needs around direct integration with InPost, the other application might be preferred with careful consideration of its requirements and limitations.
