Instafeed ‑ Instagram Feeds vs MyShop ‑ XML & RSS Export Feedfor Shopify (2026)
Instafeed ‑ Instagram Feeds and MyShop ‑ XML & RSS Export Feed are both 5-star rated Shopify apps aimed at helping merchants sell online, but they serve fundamentally different purposes and target different audiences. Instafeed focuses on leveraging social media content, particularly Instagram and TikTok, to enhance the on-site shopping experience. It allows merchants to showcase user-generated content and shoppable feeds directly on their storefront, aiming to boost engagement and conversions through social proof and a visually appealing interface. In contrast, MyShop is geared towards product distribution and catalog management, particularly for merchants seeking to automate product syncing with Pinterest and other marketplaces, or those providing dropshipping services requiring automated XML and RSS feeds. The core difference lies in their approach to sales. Instafeed aims to improve the immediate on-site shopping experience by incorporating social media, while MyShop focuses on extending reach and managing product data across various external platforms. One provides a visually engaging feed directly on the storefront; the other furnishes automated product data feeds for external channel integration. Therefore, the choice between the two will depend largely on the merchant's priority: enhancing the direct-to-consumer on-site experience versus efficient product data distribution to other online sales channels.

Our Verdict
If a merchant prioritizes creating a visually rich and engaging shopping experience directly on their Shopify store, focusing on social proof and integrating social media feeds, then Instafeed is the clear choice. It allows them to showcase Instagram and TikTok content, turning their store into a dynamic social commerce hub. On the other hand, if the merchant's primary concern is efficient product distribution, catalog management, particularly with platforms like Pinterest or dropshipping partners, MyShop is the superior option. MyShop streamlines product syncing and provides stable XML/RSS feeds, allowing for automated updates and greater marketplace visibility.
Ultimately, the best app hinges on the merchant's specific business needs and priorities. If the focus is on-site engagement and leveraging social media, go with Instafeed. If the priority is streamlined product data management and broad distribution across external channels, opt for MyShop.
