Instaflo ‑ Instagram Feed vs Sharely: Social Media Iconsfor Shopify (2026)
Instaflo ‑ Instagram Feed and Sharely: Social Media Icons both aim to enhance a Shopify store's social proof, but they do so through very different approaches. Instaflo focuses specifically on embedding Instagram content directly into the store, promising to showcase a brand's style and engage visitors with automatically updated photos, Reels, and videos. Its layouts are customizable (grid or slider) and responsive for mobile devices. Sharely, on the other hand, centers on providing social media icons and share buttons, allowing customers to easily navigate to the merchant's various social media profiles and share store content. The primary difference lies in the level of integration. Instaflo pulls content *into* the store, while Sharely directs traffic *out* to other platforms. Sharely boasts support for a wide array of social networks (Instagram, Discord, WhatsApp, etc.), making it a more versatile tool for merchants with a strong presence across multiple platforms. Instaflo, still indicating that shoppability is a future goal, presently offers content display only.

Our Verdict
For a Shopify store prioritizing a visually rich, Instagram-centric experience directly within their website, and for whom visual marketing is paramount, Instaflo ‑ Instagram Feed may be suitable. However, its extremely low number of reviews (only 1) makes it a much riskier choice, especially considering its 'soon to make it shoppable' promise has not yet materialized.
Sharely: Social Media Icons, with its significantly higher review count, established track record, and broader social media support, is the more practical choice for most merchants. It’s especially valuable for those seeking to drive traffic to their various social media profiles and encourage customers to share their store's products and content. The wide network support offers greater flexibility and makes it a safer, more versatile bet.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the app descriptions, Sharely is likely easier to set up. Instaflo's Instagram feed embedding might require more customization for optimal appearance.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to say definitively. However, Sharely's broader feature set (social media icons and sharing) and significantly higher review count suggest a higher perceived value.
Which app is better for building brand awareness?
Both contribute to brand awareness. Instaflo does so by showcasing brand visuals directly, while Sharely drives traffic to the brand's social profiles, increasing visibility and audience engagement across platforms.
Which app is more likely to increase sales?
Sharely is more likely to increase sales due to social sharing and improved credibility from directing users to established social media presence. Instaflo might help, but needs the "shoppable" feature.
Which app is better for stores without a large social media following?
Sharely might be less effective if the store has a very small or inactive social media presence. Instaflo could still be useful for showcasing Instagram content, even with a smaller following, but its value proposition significantly increases with a large, engaged audience.
