Our Verdict
Based on the available data, xCotton Post Purchase Guard appears to be the safer and more reliable choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. The perfect rating and large number of reviews indicate a high level of user satisfaction, which is a critical factor when dealing with potentially sensitive customer interactions like returns. While InstaReturns by ShipDelight offers potentially valuable automation features, the low rating and minimal reviews raise serious concerns about its reliability and performance. Merchants with highly specific needs around flexible exchanges or QC checks might consider further investigation into InstaReturns, but should proceed with caution and prioritize thorough testing.
