Intelligems: A/B Testing vs Offerly: Make an Offer Button!for Shopify (2026)
Intelligems: A/B Testing and Offerly: Make an Offer Button! both fall under the Pricing and Pricing Optimization categories in the Shopify App Store, but they cater to distinctly different merchant needs. Intelligems focuses on data-driven decision-making through A/B testing across various elements of the shopping experience, from pricing and discounts to shipping and content. It's geared toward merchants seeking to optimize their entire funnel through experimentation and analytics. Offerly, on the other hand, provides a simple 'Make an Offer' button, primarily aimed at facilitating negotiation and potentially increasing sales conversions, particularly where pricing flexibility is desirable. It's for merchants comfortable with direct customer offers and negotiation. In 2026 both apps are mature and have likely iterated significantly, but it's clear the fundamental differences in their core functionality will endure. The number of reviews available show a significantly larger Intelligems user base. They focus on completely different strategies for pricing optimization: one is data-driven A/B testing across many variables, the other encourages a direct interaction between buyer and seller. It is important to note that Offerly's ratings is slighlty higher despite the lower number of reviews. This might indicate a more niche but satisfied target customer.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to implement a robust, data-driven approach to pricing and store optimization, Intelligems: A/B Testing is the better choice. Its ability to A/B test various elements of the customer journey provides a comprehensive understanding of what drives conversions and profit. However, if your business model involves price negotiation, or if you're simply looking for a quick and easy way to allow customers to make offers, Offerly: Make an Offer Button! is the more appropriate solution. It simplifies the process of direct customer negotiation and can potentially increase sales in certain product categories. It offers a targeted sales strategy rather than broad optimization.
