Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp vs NAPPS | Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, choosing between Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp and NAPPS | Mobile App Builder hinges on the merchant's primary goal. Interakt focuses on leveraging WhatsApp as a sales channel. Its core value proposition is expanding reach and direct engagement through a popular messaging platform. This is ideal for merchants already using or wanting to use WhatsApp for customer interactions and sales. NAPPS, on the other hand, enables merchants to create a native mobile app for their store. The key difference lies in the platform of engagement. Interakt prioritizes WhatsApp as a communication and sales channel, whereas NAPPS prioritizes the creation of a dedicated mobile application. While both fall under the "Selling online - Other" category, their functionalities cater to different business strategies. Merchants seeking to deepen customer engagement through a dedicated app experience will lean towards NAPPS. Those seeking to expand their sales reach and customer engagement through WhatsApp will lean toward Interakt. The review counts and ratings suggest different levels of user adoption and satisfaction. Interakt has a substantial number of reviews, indicating a larger user base, despite a slightly lower average rating. Conversely, NAPPS boasts a perfect 5-star rating, albeit based on a significantly smaller pool of reviews. This suggests high satisfaction amongst its users, but possibly a niche appeal.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on leveraging WhatsApp's reach for customer support and sales, Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp is the better choice. Its established user base and functionality cater specifically to this channel. However, merchants wanting to provide a fully branded, native mobile app experience for their customers should opt for NAPPS | Mobile App Builder.
The high rating of NAPPS is compelling, but the lower review count suggests it might be newer or cater to a more specialized audience. If creating a comprehensive mobile app experience is crucial and the budget allows, NAPPS appears to be a strong contender. However, if immediate sales growth and customer engagement through WhatsApp is the priority, Interakt is likely the more pragmatic solution in 2026.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without direct access to app interfaces or user reviews explicitly mentioning ease of setup, it's hard to definitively say. However, the larger user base of Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp may imply a more streamlined setup process, or at least more readily available documentation and community support.
Which app is more affordable?
Pricing information is not available in the given data. Determining affordability requires comparing the pricing plans of both Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp and NAPPS | Mobile App Builder on their respective Shopify App Store pages or websites.
Which app provides better customer support?
The volume of reviews for Interakt might suggest more widespread support needs and potentially greater documentation availability. However, a higher rating for NAPPS might suggest that issues are resolved quickly. Without explicit support details, it is impossible to determine this.
If I only have a small budget, which app should I choose?
Without pricing information, a definitive answer is impossible. However, Interakt ‑ Sell on WhatsApp is frequently the first choice for Shopify merchants who wish to engage customers through WhatsApp. NAPPS caters to a smaller market due to the greater investment into building a native mobile app.
Does either app handle order tracking notifications?
