Interakt ‑ WhatsApp Marketing vs Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buyfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Interakt - WhatsApp Marketing and Sample Products - Try N Buy face a stark contrast. Interakt, despite its focus on WhatsApp marketing, suffers from a complete lack of positive user reviews, indicated by its 0/5 rating based on a significant 165 reviews. This suggests widespread issues with the app's functionality or usability. Conversely, Sample Products - Try N Buy boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, though based on a much smaller sample size of only 7 reviews. This app positions itself as a strategic upsell tool leveraging free product samples based on cart value, aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and foster customer loyalty. It specifically targets cosmetics, healthcare, food supplements, pet products, and FMCG brands. The core difference lies in their approach to sales growth. Interakt attempts to leverage WhatsApp for marketing communications, while Sample Products focuses on in-store upselling through personalized sampling strategies. Sample Products directly addresses cart value and purchasing behavior, aiming to convert potential customers by allowing them to experience products before committing to a full purchase. Given Interakt's concerning user feedback, merchants should exercise extreme caution. Sample Products, while having limited reviews, presents a compelling value proposition, especially for businesses in the specified industries looking to improve AOV and customer retention through sampling.

Our Verdict
Due to the extremely negative user feedback, Interakt ‑ WhatsApp Marketing is difficult to recommend in its current state. The app would need a significant overhaul and demonstrably improved user experience to be a viable option. Sample Products - Try N Buy, while having fewer reviews, offers a clearly defined strategy for increasing AOV and customer loyalty that directly addresses the needs of specific industries.
For merchants in the cosmetics, healthcare, food supplements, pet products, and FMCG sectors looking to implement a strategic upselling and sampling program, Sample Products - Try N Buy is the more promising choice. However, due to the limited review count, merchants should carefully monitor performance and user feedback after installation. Unless Interakt undergoes significant improvements, Sample Products is the superior option.
Common Questions
Which app is more likely to increase AOV?
Sample Products - Try N Buy explicitly aims to increase AOV through its strategic sample-based upselling. Interakt's impact on AOV is less direct and dependent on the effectiveness of its WhatsApp marketing campaigns, which is questionable given the negative reviews.
Which app is better for customer retention?
Sample Products - Try N Buy aims to create loyal shoppers by allowing them to try products before buying, potentially leading to higher satisfaction and repeat purchases. Interakt's effect on customer retention is indirect, depending on how customers perceive its marketing messages.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the available data, it's difficult to definitively say. However, the negative reviews of Interakt suggest potential usability issues. Sample Products' focus on cart value rules implies a potentially simpler setup process.
Which app is more cost-effective?
The data provided does not include pricing information for either app, making it impossible to determine which is more cost-effective. A cost-benefit analysis should be performed for both apps including a close inspection of their pricing models.
Which app is better suited for a smaller store with limited marketing resources?
Sample Products - Try N Buy might be more suitable for smaller stores with limited marketing resources. It provides a focused strategy to boost sales without requiring complex marketing campaigns, as might be expected for the WhatsApp marketing of the Interakt app. But as always, more information on the specific needs of a business is needed.
