Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily seeking to leverage AI for customer support automation and are less concerned about strict multi-channel integration, Intercom: AI Customer Service would likely be the better choice, especially considering its higher rating. However, for merchants selling across multiple platforms and social media channels, struggling with disparate communication streams, and seeking a centralized helpdesk solution that provides a comprehensive customer view and automation tools, Replyco ‑ eCommerce Helpdesk might be the more suitable option, despite the lower rating. It is crucial to weigh the importance of AI capabilities versus multi-channel management features.
