Our Verdict
Choosing between Inventory Sync ‑ GoGo and SC Store Locator Map depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the priority is optimizing inventory management across multiple locations and ensuring accurate stock levels, then Inventory Sync ‑ GoGo is the clear choice. Its personalized onboarding and audit logs make it particularly appealing for businesses that require robust tracking and support.
However, if the goal is to drive foot traffic to physical stores and improve the customer experience by making it easy to find locations, then SC Store Locator Map is the superior option. Its focus on visual presentation, ease of use for customers, and performance make it a valuable tool for any business with brick-and-mortar locations. It is unlikely merchants would need *both* apps, as they address completely different business areas.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Inventory Sync ‑ GoGo offers personalized 1-on-1 onboarding which suggests a focus on guided setup, while SC Store Locator Map boasts 6 map templates for quick launch. The ease of setup is use-case dependant. GoGo is focused on more complex inventory needs so while they offer onboarding they are likely addressing complicated setups, whereas SC Store Locator's template structure likely makes it very fast to set up a simple store locator.
Which app is better for a single-location store?
Inventory Sync ‑ GoGo can still be beneficial for a single-location store if they have complex inventory needs, but SC Store Locator Map is a more direct benefit, assisting customers in finding that single location. If the single location is the only point of distribution and has no need to audit or adjust inventory across other points, SC Store Locator is the better option.
Which app is more scalable?
Both apps claim scalability, with Inventory Sync - GoGo highlighting their ability to handle stores of all sizes, and SC Store Locator Map emphasizing performance during high traffic peaks. Scaling with Inventory Sync - GoGo means handling more SKUs, locations, and transactions and tracking them with audit logs, while Scaling with SC Store Locator Map means handling more traffic looking for one of many store locations.
Does Inventory Sync - GoGo offer location finding features?
Inventory Sync - GoGo focuses on inventory management. While it tracks inventory at different locations, it doesn't provide a customer-facing store locator or directions. SC Store Locator Map is purpose-built for that function.
Can SC Store Locator Map manage inventory levels?
No, SC Store Locator Map solely focuses on displaying store locations and providing directions. Inventory management is not within its scope. Integration with Inventory Sync - GoGo (or a similar inventory app) could theoretically be useful if the store locator needed to reflect if an item was in stock at that location but the apps don't claim to integrate directly.
