Our Verdict
The choice between Jotly Size Charts & Size Guide and ST: Product & Collection Sort depends entirely on the merchant's pain points. If a significant number of returns are due to sizing issues, and the merchant is in apparel or a similar category, Jotly is the clear choice. Jotly provides tools to give customers the best chance of finding the correct size and thus, reducing returns. On the other hand, if the merchant struggles with manually managing and optimizing product collections, especially large ones, and wants to leverage data to improve sales, ST: Product & Collection Sort is the better option. It automates merchandising decisions based on product performance and other key metrics.
Common Questions
Do both apps directly impact product sales?
Yes, indirectly. Jotly helps improve sales by reducing returns, which increases customer satisfaction and repeat purchases. ST: Product & Collection Sort directly impacts sales by optimizing collection layouts, which can lead to higher conversion rates.
Are both apps easy to set up?
The descriptions do not explicitly state ease of use, but the relatively low number of reviews for Jotly could imply it is newer or has a smaller user base. Higher review count on ST: Product & Collection Sort could indicate wider adoption and potentially a more mature (and therefore possibly easier to use) interface, but this is speculative.
Can these apps be used together?
Yes, they address different problems and can be used in conjunction. One focuses on individual product page information related to sizing, while the other focuses on collection page organization.
Which app is better for a new store?
It depends on the new store's biggest challenge. If sizing is an issue early on, Jotly would be more beneficial. If the primary goal is to quickly organize and optimize collections, ST: Product & Collection Sort is preferable.
Does either app offer a free plan or free trial?
The provided data does not mention pricing plans or free trials for either app. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listing for current pricing and trial information.
