Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer vs King Checkout Rulesfor Shopify (2026)
Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer and King Checkout Rules both aim to improve the Shopify checkout experience, but target different aspects. Kaching focuses on enhancing the cart drawer itself to boost Average Order Value (AOV) through upselling and urgency tactics. It's designed for merchants who want to actively influence customer purchasing behavior within the cart. In contrast, King Checkout Rules concentrates on customizing the checkout process after the cart, providing control over shipping and payment options based on various conditions. It’s targeted at merchants seeking a highly personalized and efficient checkout flow. The low number of reviews for King Checkout Rules (6) compared to Kaching (175) suggests it may be a newer app or less widely adopted. Kaching's strength lies in its ease of use and immediate impact on AOV through features like urgency timers, free shipping bars, and upsell sliders. It's a user-friendly option for merchants who want a quick and code-free solution to increase cart value. King Checkout Rules offers more granular control over the checkout process, allowing merchants to tailor shipping and payment options based on customer attributes, cart contents, and more. This app is best suited for merchants with complex shipping and payment requirements who need to optimize the checkout experience based on specific conditions. The choice between the two depends on whether the merchant prioritizes boosting AOV through cart modifications or customizing the checkout flow for a more seamless and personalized experience.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward solution to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through cart enhancements like urgency timers and upsells, Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer is the clear winner. Its ease of use and focus on immediate AOV impact make it ideal for those who want a quick and code-free solution. However, if the merchant's priority is advanced customization of the checkout process, specifically tailoring shipping and payment options based on complex rules and conditions, King Checkout Rules is the better choice. It offers granular control, but may require more configuration and a deeper understanding of conditional logic. Because of the lower review count, potential buyers should exercise more caution and fully vet the app before a purchase.
