Our Verdict
Kintsugi Sales Tax Automation, given its perfect rating and focus on automation, is likely the better choice for merchants who prioritize a hands-off approach to sales tax and want to minimize the time and effort spent on tax management. TaxWatch, despite lacking reviews, could be valuable for larger merchants or those rapidly expanding their sales across state lines who need to proactively monitor their economic nexus status and understand state-specific tax requirements.
However, the absence of reviews for TaxWatch makes it a riskier choice. It's crucial to investigate its functionality thoroughly before committing, especially since Kintsugi already has a proven track record. Merchants should consider their specific needs and risk tolerance before making a decision.
