Kip: Sort Hide Payment Methods vs Qikify Slide Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
Kip: Sort Hide Payment Methods and Qikify Slide Cart Drawer are both highly rated Shopify apps (4.9/5), but they address drastically different aspects of the checkout and cart experience. Kip focuses on refining the payment options presented to the customer, enabling merchants to tailor payment method visibility based on a variety of conditions. This allows for optimizing payment gateways based on location, cart contents, and customer characteristics. Qikify, on the other hand, centers on enhancing the cart itself with features designed to boost AOV and conversion rate through upsells, progress bars, and a sticky add-to-cart button. While both belong to the Checkout and Cart customization categories, their functionalities rarely overlap. The core difference lies in their target optimization areas. Kip prioritizes payment gateway efficiency and fraud prevention by providing granular control over payment method display. It's ideal for merchants seeking to streamline payment options based on specific rules. Qikify aims to improve the overall shopping experience by making the cart more interactive and persuasive. This makes it well-suited for stores focused on increasing order values and reducing cart abandonment by engaging customers directly within the cart interface.
