Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO vs RecomSale: Affiliate Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO and RecomSale: Affiliate Marketing cater to different needs within the discounts category. Kite Discount focuses on boosting sales directly through various automated and manual discounts, free gift offers, progress bars, and replacing Shopify Scripts for custom discount functions. It seems to target merchants looking for advanced discounting and promotional tools to increase average order value and conversion rates. RecomSale: Affiliate Marketing, on the other hand, is specifically focused on affiliate marketing, enabling merchants to leverage a network of affiliates to drive traffic and sales. The core difference lies in their approaches to increasing sales. Kite Discount does it internally through on-site promotions and incentives, directly influencing customer behavior on the Shopify store. RecomSale achieves it externally through affiliate partnerships, extending the merchant's reach beyond their existing customer base. A merchant would choose Kite Discount to optimize their on-site sales strategies, and RecomSale to expand their customer acquisition through an affiliate network.
