Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO vs TB: Tiered pricing & Discountsfor Shopify (2026)
Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO positions itself as a comprehensive discount solution for Shopify merchants, emphasizing a wide array of discount options including free gifts, BOGO offers, tiered discounts, and free shipping discounts. It also focuses on migrating Shopify Scripts for custom discount functions. Its strength lies in its extensive feature set and significant user base, suggested by its high rating and large number of reviews. This implies a mature and well-tested app. TB: Tiered pricing & Discounts, conversely, champions a completely free model with unlimited access to premium features like bundles, volume discounts, and tiered pricing. It emphasizes AI-driven theme matching and ease of use. The primary difference is the pricing model: Kite offers a robust feature set but potentially involves subscription costs (not explicitly stated in the data, but implied given the complexity), while TB is 100% free. TB is particularly geared toward attracting users seeking budget-friendly solutions without sacrificing advanced discounting features such as bundles. Kite appears targeted towards merchants seeking granular control and custom script migration, implying a potentially more technical audience. TB highlights AI features to reduce work by automatically generating custom widgets and highlights sales items to increase Average Order Value. Both apps seem to target merchants looking to increase sales through discounts and bundles.

Our Verdict
If budget is a primary concern, and the merchant values simplicity and AI-driven automation, TB: Tiered pricing & Discounts is the clear choice. Its free model and focus on ease of use make it an attractive option, particularly for newer stores or those with limited technical expertise. However, merchants with complex discounting needs, a reliance on Shopify Scripts, and a desire for maximum customization should strongly consider Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO. Despite the lack of explicit pricing, the breadth of features and mature user base suggests it is a powerful solution for advanced discount strategies and those willing to invest for greater control.
The small number of reviews for TB is a risk factor. While the offering may be appealing, there is less community validation than with Kite, so the merchant should be aware of that.
