Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender vs Tepo Custom Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender and Tepo Custom Product Options both aim to enhance the product selection experience on Shopify, but cater to different needs. Kiwi focuses squarely on solving sizing issues, aiming to reduce returns and increase sales by providing customers with accurate size charts, detailed guides, and AI-powered size recommendations. Its core strength lies in its ability to help customers find the right fit for apparel, footwear, and other sized products. Tepo Custom Product Options, on the other hand, centers around enabling merchants to offer highly customizable products, focusing on tailoring product configurations to individual customer preferences. Kiwi’s appeal centers on improving size-related product selection and reducing returns through detailed and accurate sizing information. In contrast, Tepo’s core value proposition is enhanced product personalization. While they are both listed in the 'Custom Products' and 'Product Variants' Shopify categories, Kiwi's specific functionality makes it a better fit for merchants dealing with products where size is a significant factor, such as clothing and footwear. Tepo, with its focus on customizable options, is more geared towards businesses that offer products that customers can personalize or tailor to their specifications. While both apps have strong ratings, the higher rating of Tepo (4.9/5 compared to Kiwi's 4.7/5) and the higher number of reviews for Kiwi (843 versus 691) suggests a potentially different user base or satisfaction level. Tepo's focus is likely on a wider set of stores. While both apps can benefit most Shopify stores, their distinct functionalities make them suitable for different types of merchants.
