Our Verdict
Klarna On‑Site Messaging is a niche app suitable ONLY for merchants who already offer Klarna as a payment option and want to maximize its visibility. Given its low rating and narrow focus, it presents a higher risk. Yeps Announcement Bar, Banners, on the other hand, is a much more versatile app that caters to a wider range of merchants looking to boost sales and engagement through various popups and announcements. Its significantly higher rating and wider feature set makes it the better choice for most Shopify store owners. Merchants not using Klarna Payments should definitively choose Yeps.
Common Questions

Can I use Yeps without any coding knowledge?
Yes, Yeps is designed to be used without any code.
Which app is better for simply displaying an announcement bar?
Yeps Announcement Bar, Banners is better because it offers a specific announcement bar feature alongside other options, whereas Klarna focuses solely on Klarna-related messaging.

Klarna On‑Site Messaging allows for messaging customization, potentially enabling some targeting based on browsing behavior or cart value. However, Yeps offers more advanced targeting options.
Which app is more likely to negatively impact my site's loading speed?
Both apps *could* impact site speed. Given that Klarna On-Site Messaging is designed to display messaging throughout the entire shopping journey, its persistent presence *could* have a more significant effect. Yeps' impact depends on how many popups and bars are configured.
