Klaviyo Reviews vs Proof Bear ‑ Sales Popupfor Shopify (2026)
Klaviyo Reviews and Proof Bear ‑ Sales Popup both aim to enhance trust on Shopify stores, but they tackle it from entirely different angles. Klaviyo Reviews, as its name suggests, focuses on collecting and showcasing genuine product reviews, leveraging Klaviyo's existing marketing automation platform for seamless integration. It targets merchants already invested in the Klaviyo ecosystem, providing a centralized solution for managing reviews and customer communication. Its strength lies in its automation capabilities and deep integration with customer data. Proof Bear, on the other hand, aims to build trust through social proof, specifically by displaying recent sales pop-ups to create a sense of urgency and popularity. Its primary focus is on boosting conversion rates through FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Unlike Klaviyo Reviews, Proof Bear operates independently of any specific marketing platform and offers extensive customization options for the pop-up design. This makes it appealing to merchants looking for a quick and easily customizable solution to instantly inject social proof into their store, regardless of their current marketing stack. Both apps fall under the 'Social Trust' category in Shopify, however, Klaviyo Reviews does so indirectly by building credibility through verifiable product feedback. In contrast, Proof Bear directly utilizes the psychological effect of social proof to promote perceived trustworthiness and sales momentum.
