Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, Lyve: Shoppable Video & UGC is the clear choice unless Kodex provides compelling evidence to the contrary. Lyve offers a proven platform with a strong rating and positive user feedback (26 reviews). Its feature set, including shoppable video creation from popular platforms, livestreaming capabilities, and AI-powered personalization, targets merchants looking to boost sales and engagement through video commerce.
Kodex, with its complete lack of reviews and unclear functionality, poses a significant risk. It is not recommended unless the merchant is willing to be an early adopter and accept the possibility of significant issues. Lyve's integration with the Shop App and other channels makes it particularly suitable for merchants seeking to expand their reach and conversion rates beyond the traditional website.
