Kwik COD & Checkout vs Madgic Order COD Form & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Kwik COD & Checkout and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell both aim to optimize the Cash on Delivery (COD) checkout experience for Shopify merchants, but they cater to slightly different needs. Kwik COD & Checkout emphasizes a holistic approach to COD management and prepaid order incentivization. It positions itself as a solution to reduce Return to Origin (RTO) rates and increase prepaid orders through features like intelligent COD blocking, advanced discounts, and partial COD payments. It appears geared towards merchants already experiencing high COD order volumes and RTO issues. Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining the COD checkout form itself, offering a highly customizable and mobile-friendly experience with features like partial payments, abandoned cart recovery, and custom thank-you pages. Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell seems to target merchants who want a quick and easy way to enhance their COD checkout process, focusing on form optimization and conversion rate improvement. Kwik COD & Checkout, while also improving conversions, has a broader scope, addressing underlying issues like RTO through more comprehensive tools and integrations. The stark difference in review volume suggests Kwik COD & Checkout has a more established presence and potentially larger user base, while Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell may be a newer app focusing on specific areas of improvement within the COD process.

Our Verdict
If you're dealing with significant RTO issues and want a comprehensive solution that includes advanced COD blocking, prepaid order incentives, and extensive integrations, Kwik COD & Checkout is likely the better choice, especially considering its established user base indicated by the number of reviews. Its focus is on optimizing the entire COD ecosystem within your store. However, if you're primarily looking for a quick and customizable way to improve your COD checkout form, implement partial payments, and recover abandoned carts, especially on mobile, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell offers a more focused solution.
Given the limited information on Madgic's features beyond the form itself, Kwik COD & Checkout provides a more robust and feature-rich approach for merchants seeking deep COD order management, especially in 2026 when the market likely expects advanced COD control.
