Kwik COD & Checkout vs Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
Kwik COD & Checkout and Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer are both Shopify apps aimed at improving the checkout experience, but they tackle different pain points. Kwik COD & Checkout focuses on optimizing Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, reducing Return to Origin (RTO) rates, and encouraging prepaid orders. It provides features like COD blocking, COD fees, pre-filled addresses, and advanced discounts to manage COD effectively and boost conversion rates. Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer, on the other hand, concentrates on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and conversions by enhancing the cart experience with upsells, cross-sells, free gifts, and urgency features. Kwik COD & Checkout primarily targets merchants heavily reliant on COD payments and struggling with high RTO rates. Its strength lies in its COD management and prepaid order incentives. Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer caters to a broader audience seeking to maximize revenue through strategic cart enhancements. Its strength is in its AOV-boosting features and abandoned cart recovery capabilities. While both apps impact the checkout flow, they do so through distinct strategies – one focuses on operational efficiency and payment optimization, and the other on sales maximization through targeted offers.
