Our Verdict
For high-volume merchants struggling with RTO and aiming to aggressively increase prepaid orders, Kwik COD & Checkout is likely the better choice. Its comprehensive features like COD blocking, advanced discounts, and partial COD payments offer a more proactive approach to optimizing COD management and driving sales. The 24/7 support and integrations can also be valuable for larger operations.
However, for merchants primarily concerned with providing a highly customized checkout experience through flexible payment and delivery options, Payflow: COD & Payment Methods is the more suitable solution. Its ability to hide, rename, and reorder payment methods based on conditions allows for a more tailored and user-friendly checkout process. Payflow's focus on native Shopify functions suggests a potentially smoother and more integrated experience. If a simpler setup with conditional payment gateway controls is the priority, Payflow is the better option. Kwik is a power-user app, Payflow is for simpler customization of payment options.
