Lably—Product Labels & Badges vs Section Star: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Both Lably—Product Labels & Badges and Section Star: Theme Sections aim to enhance Shopify stores, but they do so through different avenues. Lably focuses on visually highlighting products with customizable labels and badges to draw attention to sales, promotions, or product features, directly targeting improved conversion rates. Section Star, on the other hand, provides pre-designed theme sections to enhance the overall store design without requiring coding, aiming to offer a professional-looking theme at a lower cost than hiring a freelancer. Both apps boast perfect 5/5 ratings, but Lably has a significantly larger number of reviews (399 vs 76), potentially indicating wider adoption or a longer market presence. The key difference lies in their purpose: Lably is for merchants looking to actively promote specific products and create a sense of urgency or excitement, while Section Star caters to those who want to improve the overall aesthetic and functionality of their store's design. Lably emphasizes targeted marketing through visual cues, while Section Star focuses on broader design enhancements. The choice between the two depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs and priorities. If the priority is driving immediate sales and conversions through eye-catching product highlights, Lably is the better choice. Conversely, if the goal is a more holistic improvement to the store's theme and user experience, Section Star is more appropriate.
