Latori Best Price Indicator vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
Latori Best Price Indicator and Singleton | Verify Customers are both highly rated Shopify apps, but cater to fundamentally different needs. Latori Best Price Indicator is designed for merchants who need to comply with price indication regulations, specifically automating the tracking and display of the lowest price within the last 30 days. Its strength lies in its focus on legal compliance and ease of use in meeting price transparency requirements. Singleton | Verify Customers, on the other hand, provides customer access control, allowing merchants to verify and approve customers before they can view prices or add products to their cart. The primary difference lies in their purpose: Latori addresses regulatory compliance and price transparency, while Singleton focuses on customer management and gated access to store content. Latori is ideal for merchants concerned about the Price Indication Ordinance (PAngV) requirements. Singleton is geared towards businesses that need to restrict access to products or pricing based on customer verification or membership, such as B2B businesses or those offering exclusive products/pricing to select customer groups. Given the limited review count for Latori, it's important for merchants to investigate further before choosing.

Our Verdict
The choice between Latori Best Price Indicator and Singleton | Verify Customers depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the primary concern is complying with price indication laws and automating the tracking of the lowest price, Latori is the clear choice. Its focused functionality directly addresses this specific requirement. However, due to the low number of reviews, potential users should proceed with caution and investigate further.
If the merchant needs to control customer access to products, prices, or the "add to cart" button, Singleton | Verify Customers is the more suitable option. It's particularly useful for B2B stores, membership-based businesses, or those wanting to offer exclusive pricing to specific customer segments. The significantly higher number of reviews suggests broader adoption and potentially greater reliability, although this is not definitive proof.
