LC | Easy Account Creation vs Refersion: Affiliate Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
LC | Easy Account Creation and Refersion: Affiliate Marketing cater to fundamentally different needs for Shopify merchants. LC | Easy Account Creation focuses on streamlining the customer account creation process, specifically targeting friction reduction during or immediately after the purchase. It aims to improve customer signup rates and collect valuable customer data with minimal effort, positioning itself as a conversion optimization tool. A key differentiator is its integration with Shopify Plus checkout, allowing for account creation directly during the checkout process for these higher-tier merchants. Refersion: Affiliate Marketing, in contrast, is an affiliate marketing platform designed to help merchants acquire new customers and drive sales through affiliate partnerships. It offers tools for tracking affiliate performance, managing payouts, and building relationships with influencers. Our Verdict
The choice between LC | Easy Account Creation and Refersion: Affiliate Marketing hinges entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the goal is to optimize the customer account creation process, reduce friction, and capture more customer data, particularly for Shopify Plus users, then LC | Easy Account Creation is the clear choice. Its zero-redirect signup and Plus checkout integration are compelling features for boosting account conversions.
However, if the objective is to expand market reach, acquire new customers, and increase sales through affiliate partnerships, then Refersion: Affiliate Marketing is the appropriate solution. While it may not directly address account creation, its focus on affiliate management makes it ideal for merchants looking to tap into the power of influencer marketing and referral programs. The significant difference in the number of reviews further suggests that Refersion might be a more robust and well-established platform within the affiliate marketing space.
