LC File Upload, Image Upload vs Secure File Upload by AXQTfor Shopify (2026)
LC File Upload, Image Upload and Secure File Upload by AXQT both aim to streamline file uploads for Shopify merchants, but they differ significantly in their current market validation and feature focus. LC File Upload emphasizes ease of use and customizability for personalized products, evident in its focus on image and document uploads with downloadable files directly from orders. It seems targeted towards merchants needing quick and simple personalized item setups. In contrast, Secure File Upload by AXQT positions itself as a solution for merchants requiring robust security and file management capabilities, specifically mentioning 'secure' uploads, 'unlimited uploads,' and file blocking/deletion. The apps also appeal to different stages of business. LC File Upload focuses on a wider range of file formats and creating customized upload fields, showing a broad usability scope. Secure File Upload offers unlimited uploads and multi-file uploads, which may be a better fit for high-volume businesses or those needing to collect large numbers of files. A significant consideration is the absence of reviews for Secure File Upload, raising questions about its reliability and user experience, especially when compared to LC File Upload's positive 5-star rating and existing user base. The lack of user feedback on AXQT’s app prevents a full assessment of its real-world performance and features.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple and proven solution for personalized product uploads, LC File Upload, Image Upload is the clear choice, supported by its positive rating and customer reviews. Its straightforward feature set caters well to businesses needing to handle images and documents for customization. However, merchants prioritizing security and needing to manage a high volume of uploads, including control over file blocking and deletion, may find Secure File Upload by AXQT potentially more appealing.
The lack of reviews and ratings for Secure File Upload by AXQT makes it a riskier choice. Therefore, merchants choosing that app should thoroughly test it before full deployment, and possibly start with a limited set of products to confirm its stability and effectiveness in their specific use case. If proven stable and secure, the app may be a viable option for those merchants needing advanced file management.
