Our Verdict
The choice between LDT: Gift Wrap, Gift Message and Selling Point depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant wants to enhance the customer shopping experience by offering gift wrapping and personalized messages, then LDT: Gift Wrap, Gift Message is the clear choice. On the other hand, if a merchant is migrating to Shopify from another platform and needs to move existing gift card and store credit balances, or needs to bulk generate gift cards, then Selling Point is the only suitable option. Selling Point addresses a very specific pain point during a migration, so if you do not have that pain point, it is irrelevant.
