Letters｜友人・知人への紹介＆口コミを広げて売上アップ vs Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGCfor Shopify (2026)
Letters and Rave are both Shopify apps focused on leveraging referrals and affiliate marketing to boost sales, but they cater to slightly different merchant profiles and offer distinct feature sets. Letters emphasizes ease of use, particularly for merchants who may not be technically savvy. It boasts integration into 400 stores, offers a risk-free pricing model with a 30-day free trial and commission-based payments, and claims a high average conversion rate among active users. Rave, on the other hand, positions itself as a more modern and engaging solution with features like gamified incentives and UGC collection, aiming for broader campaign types and incentivization. Rave is focused on providing a comprehensive referral, affiliate, and UGC management solution, emphasizing speed of setup and a wider range of incentive options (cash + free items). Letters focuses on making referral programs accessible, especially for those without coding experience, with an emphasis on Japanese language compatibility and configuration. The former is designed for merchants looking for a broad, integrated suite, while the latter is ideal for those prioritizing simplicity, Japanese language compatibility, and a lower upfront cost. In 2026, the app ratings are important but the app functionality and value proposition in relation to store type are vital for app selection.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants operating in Japan or prioritizing Japanese language support and seeking a straightforward referral program, Letters is likely the better choice. Its emphasis on ease of use and commission-based pricing makes it a low-risk option. However, if merchants are looking for a more comprehensive solution encompassing affiliate programs, UGC management, and a wider array of incentive options (including cash and free gifts), and value more advanced features such as gamification, Rave is the stronger candidate. Since Rave has a perfect rating, it may be tempting, but the review volume is lower. Merchants should test out both apps to ensure a good fit.
If budget is a major constraint and simplicity is key, Letters is preferable. However, if the merchant is willing to invest more time and potentially money into a comprehensive solution with diverse incentive strategies, Rave is likely the better choice, assuming it proves to meet business needs and offers a good return on investment in terms of referral and affiliate sales.
