Lexus ‑ Multi Facebook Pixels vs Peel: Retention Analyticsfor Shopify (2026)
Lexus - Multi Facebook Pixels and Peel: Retention Analytics both aim to improve Shopify merchants' advertising effectiveness, but target distinct areas. Lexus focuses on streamlining Facebook ad management by allowing merchants to use multiple Facebook pixels effectively. Peel, on the other hand, provides in-depth retention analytics focusing on customer lifetime value (LTV), churn, and subscription growth. While both are listed under the 'Ads' category on Shopify, their core functionalities cater to different needs. Lexus empowers merchants to refine their ad targeting and tracking, whereas Peel helps them understand and improve customer retention through data-driven insights. Lexus's strength lies in its ease of use for managing multiple pixels and its stated compatibility with popular themes, alongside addressing iOS14 conversion tracking. Peel distinguishes itself by offering a comprehensive suite of retention-focused metrics, pre-built templates, and the ability to integrate with platforms like Klaviyo and Meta for enhanced audience targeting. The relatively low number of reviews for Lexus (7) compared to Peel (34), despite both having 5/5 ratings, indicates Peel has a larger user base and potentially more established presence. Therefore, a merchant would choose based on their priorities: direct ad optimization (Lexus) or deeper customer retention analysis (Peel).
