LianLian Extention vs Report Toaster: Custom Reportsfor Shopify (2026)
LianLian Extention and Report Toaster: Custom Reports, while both listed under the 'Operations' category in the Shopify App Store, cater to vastly different needs. LianLian Extention focuses on automating the synchronization of tracking information specifically for merchants utilizing the LianLian payment service. Its core value proposition lies in saving time and potentially increasing conversion rates through a streamlined payment process. Report Toaster, on the other hand, is a comprehensive reporting and analytics tool aimed at providing Shopify merchants with deep insights into their shop data. Our Verdict
For merchants using the LianLian payment service, LianLian Extention appears to be the straightforward choice to automate tracking information and save time. Its value is directly tied to the adoption of that specific payment gateway. However, for the vast majority of Shopify merchants seeking comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities, Report Toaster: Custom Reports is the far more robust and versatile option. Its feature set, established user base, and ability to create custom reports provide the tools necessary to gain valuable insights into sales, inventory, and other crucial business metrics.
While both apps have perfect ratings, the significantly higher number of reviews for Report Toaster lends more credibility to its functionality and reliability. Therefore, unless your sole need is LianLian payment tracking automation, Report Toaster is the clear frontrunner for a data-driven merchant.
