Lietuvos Paštas vs Ricemill | Fulfilmentfor Shopify (2026)
Lietuvos Paštas and Ricemill | Fulfilment are both shipping solutions available on the Shopify app store, but they cater to drastically different markets and offer distinct functionalities. Lietuvos Paštas focuses on merchants using the services of Lietuvos Paštas (Lithuanian Post), automating order handling and providing flexible delivery options within Lithuania. It emphasizes direct integration and control from the Shopify admin panel, streamlining logistics for businesses already contracted with the postal service. This app aims to optimize a specific, pre-existing relationship. Ricemill | Fulfilment, on the other hand, provides a more general solution for Australian merchants. It focuses on label printing, rate comparison, and order fulfillment integration with Australia Post (MyPost & eParcel) and Sendle. Its primary strength lies in its ease of use and speed of setup, allowing merchants to quickly connect to supported carriers and begin shipping. Ricemill | Fulfilment appears to be geared toward merchants who need a simplified label printing and rate comparison solution, especially those new to shipping or seeking integration with common Australian carriers.

Our Verdict
The choice between Lietuvos Paštas and Ricemill | Fulfilment is straightforward and dependent on the merchant's location and shipping needs. For Lithuanian merchants already using Lietuvos Paštas, the Lietuvos Paštas app offers seamless integration and automation. However, the lack of reviews and the requirement for a pre-existing contract are potential downsides.
Ricemill | Fulfilment is clearly the better option for Australian merchants utilizing Australia Post or Sendle. Its high rating, positive reviews, and ease of use make it a compelling choice for streamlining shipping and comparing rates. The app’s focus on simplicity and common Australian carriers outweighs its lack of international applicability. For any merchant outside of Australia or without access to the specified Australian carriers, Ricemill is not a suitable option.
