Lifter Age Check vs Tusk ‑ Custom Checkout Fieldsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants needing a legal app face the choice between Lifter Age Check and Tusk ‑ Custom Checkout Fields. Lifter Age Check focuses explicitly on age verification, allowing merchants selling age-restricted goods to comply with regulations by implementing a customizable age gate on their storefront. Tusk ‑ Custom Checkout Fields, on the other hand, is not described beyond its name, rating and category. Therefore, there is nothing to compare with Lifter Age Check. The primary difference lies in their stated functionality. Lifter Age Check directly addresses the need for age verification, while Tusk - Custom Checkout Fields is too vague to properly compare.
