Our Verdict
Choosing between Lighthouse and Mercuri depends heavily on your preferred communication channel and the scope of your notification needs. If your team heavily relies on Slack and your priority is immediate alerts for high-value orders, Lighthouse is the better choice. However, if you need to communicate with customers via WhatsApp and SMS for broader marketing and notification purposes (assuming the 'marketing' features are robust), Mercuri would be more suitable. While both have 5-star ratings, Mercuri has more reviews, which provides slightly more confidence in its functionality.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Lighthouse claims to have an easy and intuitive setup. No information about Mercuri's setup process is provided.
Which app is better for internal team communication?
Lighthouse is specifically designed for internal communication via Slack.
Which app is better for direct customer communication?
Mercuri leverages WhatsApp and SMS which suggests it is geared towards direct customer communication. However, the precise nature of that communication (e.g. order updates, marketing messages) isn't detailed in the description.
Which app offers more filtering options for notifications?
Lighthouse explicitly mentions filtering by order value and 'more'. Mercuri does not provide detail on filtering options in the provided description.
Assuming both apps are priced the same, which offers more features?
Based solely on the descriptions, Mercuri *potentially* offers more features due to its focus on "marketing" in addition to notifications. However, without a clear understanding of those features, Lighthouse might be a better value if specific filtering and slack alerts are top priority.
