Common Questions
Which app is better for a small Shopify store just starting out?
It depends on their immediate needs. If accurate accounting is crucial from the beginning, Link My Books can save time and prevent errors. If checkout customization is a priority, SupaEasy provides a powerful no-code solution. However, many smaller stores may find accounting software integration unnecessary early on, so SupaEasy may offer more immediately tangible benefits.
What happens if I use both apps?
Using both apps is perfectly feasible, as they address different aspects of a Shopify store's operations. Link My Books handles back-end accounting, while SupaEasy customizes the customer-facing checkout. There is no direct conflict between the two.
Does SupaEasy replace the need for a developer?
While SupaEasy significantly reduces the need for coding skills, complex or highly specific customizations may still require developer assistance. SupaEasy empowers non-technical users to handle many checkout customizations, but it's not a complete replacement for a skilled developer in all scenarios.
Is Link My Books only for users of Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes, Link My Books is specifically designed to integrate with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software. If a merchant uses a different accounting system, Link My Books will not be compatible.
How secure is SupaEasy in modifying the checkout process?
Because SupaEasy is approved on the Shopify app store, you can be confident that their solution is safe. Always read the fine print and double-check the functions are doing what is required of them.
