LinkIT ‑ Sell Digital Products vs Xesto Fitfor Shopify (2026)
LinkIT ‑ Sell Digital Products and Xesto Fit both cater to the broader 'Digital goods and services - Other' category on Shopify, but their focuses and target audiences are vastly different. LinkIT helps merchants sell digital products like courses, videos, and PDFs by integrating with existing cloud storage and hosting platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube, and more. Its primary value proposition lies in its ease of use and compatibility with already familiar tools, appealing to merchants who want a simple way to monetize digital content. Xesto Fit, on the other hand, targets shoe retailers seeking to improve sizing accuracy and reduce returns. It relies on an iOS app for foot scanning and provides a sizing widget for product pages.

Our Verdict
LinkIT ‑ Sell Digital Products is the clear choice for merchants looking to easily sell digital downloads. Its compatibility with widely used platforms and simple link-based system makes it accessible even with limited technical expertise. The lack of reviews is a concern, but the 5/5 rating (even with just one review) indicates potential. Xesto Fit, while potentially useful for shoe retailers, suffers from a complete lack of reviews. Unless a shoe retailer is specifically experiencing high return rates due to sizing issues and is willing to be an early adopter, LinkIT is the safer and more generally applicable option. Merchants selling digital products hosted on common platforms should strongly consider LinkIT.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
LinkIT appears to be easier to set up. It relies on copying and pasting links from existing platforms, while Xesto Fit requires integration with an iOS app and implementing a widget.
Which app is better for reducing customer support tickets?
Xesto Fit is specifically designed to reduce returns related to sizing issues, which can indirectly reduce customer support tickets. LinkIT might lead to fewer support requests related to accessing purchased digital files if set up correctly, but it isn't its primary focus.
Which app is more suited for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is explicitly suited for dropshipping. LinkIT *could* be used to sell digital guides or resources related to dropshipping, but Xesto Fit is irrelevant unless the dropshipping store sells shoes.
Is Xesto Fit only for mobile users?
No, Xesto Fit's sizing widget works on both Mobile (iOS) and Desktop, according to the app description. The sizing process, however, starts with an iOS app.
Which app offers more branding control?
LinkIT offers more branding control, specifically allowing customization of digital download emails to match the store's branding. Xesto Fit focuses primarily on widget functionality.
