Our Verdict
For merchants managing their own local deliveries and offering pickup options, Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE is the clear choice, providing tools for route optimization, driver management, and customer communication. Its higher review count suggests broader adoption and potentially more robust functionality. Shipping Rates Rules & Zones is better suited for merchants who need fine-grained control over shipping rates based on location, product characteristics, and other factors. If the priority is customizing shipping costs and creating complex shipping rules, and you're already using Carrier-Calculated Shipping, then Shipping Rates Rules & Zones is the more appropriate solution.
