Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE vs Shipway: Logistics Aggregationfor Shopify (2026)
Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE and Shipway: Logistics Aggregation are both delivery-focused Shopify apps, but cater to drastically different needs. Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE targets businesses managing their own local deliveries and in-store pickups. Its strength lies in advanced scheduling, AI-powered route optimization, driver management, and real-time tracking, all within Shopify's ecosystem. It’s ideal for merchants wanting tight control over their local fulfillment process. Shipway: Logistics Aggregation, on the other hand, focuses on simplifying shipping for Indian e-commerce businesses. Its value proposition is aggregating multiple courier partners, automating order processing, and streamlining returns management. It leverages AI for carrier allocation and proactive NDR (Non-Delivery Report) management, aiming to reduce RTO (Return to Origin) losses. Essentially, it’s a logistics aggregator suited for merchants in India with significant shipping volume and national distribution needs. Because of their divergent feature sets, they each occupy distinctly different parts of the Shopify delivery app landscape.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants focused on efficient and controlled *local* deliveries and in-store pickups, Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE is the clear choice, offering features like route optimization and a driver app. However, Shipway: Logistics Aggregation is the superior solution if your business operates *within India* and needs to streamline nationwide shipping through courier aggregation and automation.
Merchants outside of India or those not requiring local delivery management features should avoid Shipway. Conversely, merchants who need direct control over their delivery routes and local logistics should avoid Shipway and favor Local delivery + Pickup ‑ SE.
