Our Verdict
Based on the information available, Stockist Store Locator is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants looking for a store locator app in 2026. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and stated feature set suggest a reliable and effective solution. LocateIt's complete lack of reviews and a zero rating raises serious concerns about its functionality and reliability. Unless a merchant is specifically looking for a very basic (and possibly undeveloped) app or has unique constraints not addressed by Stockist, Stockist Store Locator is the recommended option. Even then, significant due diligence would be required on LocateIt before trusting it with customer-facing operations.
