For merchants specifically seeking a solution to manage both B2B (wholesale) and B2C (retail) operations from a single Shopify store, Sami B2B Lock, Password Protect appears to be the stronger choice. Its explicit focus on B2B functionality, combined with a higher rating and more reviews, suggests a better fit for this specific use case. The emphasis on ease of use and no-code implementation is also attractive for merchants who want a straightforward solution without needing technical expertise.
For merchants with more general access control needs where B2B functionality is not a primary requirement, Locksmith could still be a viable option. However, given Sami B2B Lock, Password Protect's broader feature set and stronger social proof (higher rating, more reviews) even for general access needs it will likely be the preferred tool in 2026.
