Loggr ‑ Edit History & Revert vs MP ‑ Store Migration & Importfor Shopify (2026)
Loggr ‑ Edit History & Revert and MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, while both categorized under 'Bulk editor' on Shopify, cater to very different needs. Loggr focuses on internal data management, providing a comprehensive audit trail of product edits and offering one-click reversion to previous states. This is critical for merchants concerned with data integrity and error correction. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, in contrast, is designed to facilitate external data transfer, focusing on moving entire stores or large quantities of data between platforms or within Shopify itself. The crucial distinction lies in Loggr's preventative and corrective focus on *existing* product data and MP's transactional focus on *moving* that data.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Loggr and MP depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the primary concern is tracking changes within the existing Shopify store, maintaining data accuracy, and having the ability to quickly revert to previous product versions, Loggr ‑ Edit History & Revert is the clear choice. Its focus on edit history and one-click reversion addresses these specific needs effectively. However, for merchants looking to migrate their entire store to Shopify or import bulk product data from another source, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is the more appropriate solution. It facilitates the large-scale transfer of data, a functionality Loggr doesn't offer. While Loggr has a perfect rating, the limited number of reviews compared to MP's suggests a smaller user base or a newer app, and merchants should factor this into their decision.
