Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing improved store organization, enhanced navigation, and a visually appealing shopping experience through customized collections, Lolly might be a suitable choice, *assuming* it delivers on its promise of an intuitive interface. However, the lack of reviews introduces a significant risk. For merchants dealing with a large inventory and requiring efficient ways to update product information, prices, or descriptions in bulk, QuickEdit: Bulk Product Edit is the clear winner. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews suggest it's a reliable and effective tool for saving time and streamlining product management. Given the lack of any feedback on Lolly, QuickEdit is the safer and more compelling option for the majority of Shopify merchants needing inventory management assistance.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Lolly claims to have an intuitive interface, suggesting ease of use. However, without reviews, it's impossible to verify. QuickEdit likely requires some familiarity with bulk editing concepts, but its well-documented features and positive reviews suggest it's manageable for users with moderate technical skills.
Which app is better for a small store with only a few products?
For a small store, the benefits of QuickEdit might be limited since bulk editing is less critical. Lolly's focus on collection management might be more relevant if the goal is to curate a compelling shopping experience with those few products.
What if I need both collection management and bulk editing?
If both features are essential, you might need to consider using both apps or looking for a different app that combines these functionalities. Alternatively, assess which function is more pressing and address that need first.
How do I know if Lolly is trustworthy, given the lack of reviews?
Without reviews, it's difficult to assess Lolly's trustworthiness. Consider contacting the app developer directly with questions or seeking out beta testers within the Shopify community to provide feedback before committing to a paid plan.
Is QuickEdit's pricing worth the investment?
Based on its positive reviews and time-saving capabilities, QuickEdit's pricing is likely justifiable for merchants who regularly perform bulk edits on a significant number of products. However, evaluate your specific needs and usage frequency to determine if the cost aligns with the value you'll receive.
