Lookfy Lookbook: Image Gallery vs Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Storyfor Shopify (2026)
Lookfy Lookbook: Image Gallery and Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story are both Shopify apps within the 'Images and Media' category, but they cater to distinct needs. Lookfy focuses on creating visually rich experiences using static images and galleries, emphasizing comprehensive image presentation and product tagging for shop-the-look setups. It's designed for merchants who want to showcase product ranges beautifully using multiple layouts including carousels and grids, and enabling customers to easily purchase items directly from the images. Vidjet, on the other hand, prioritizes video content, offering a way to embed videos, stories, and carousels without impacting site speed. It is targeted towards merchants looking to leverage user-generated content or product videos and add interactive elements, such as coupon codes and CTAs, to their videos. Vidjet focuses on video-driven engagement, analytics, and ease of video content management, particularly with features like bulk embedding across multiple pages. While both apps aim to boost sales through visual content, Lookfy is more about curated image presentation, and Vidjet about dynamic video presentation.
