Our Verdict
For high-growth, DTC brands processing a significant volume of returns and prioritizing customer LTV, Loop Returns & Exchanges is the more comprehensive solution. Its advanced features for automation, fraud prevention, and incentivized exchanges can significantly impact profitability and customer loyalty. However, the complexity of integration might require more technical expertise or a dedicated team.
If your primary concern is offering simple, direct shipping protection to build trust and manage customer expectations surrounding potential shipping issues, Sam Shipping Protection Upsell is the better choice. Its ease of use, customizable options, and lack of revenue sharing make it an attractive option for merchants who want to maintain control over their shipping protection program without complex integrations or ongoing fees. For smaller businesses or those with lower return rates, Sam offers a straightforward and cost-effective solution.

Loop Returns & Exchanges offers specific features for return fraud prevention, including workflows, custom rules, and blocklists. Sam Shipping Protection Upsell does not address return fraud directly.
Which app is better for international sales?
