Love Loyalty Program & Rewards vs Propel Subscriptions Appfor Shopify (2026)
Love Loyalty Program & Rewards and Propel Subscriptions App both fall under the Customer Loyalty and Loyalty & Rewards categories on Shopify, but they cater to distinct, though overlapping, merchant needs. Love Loyalty Program & Rewards focuses on building a comprehensive loyalty ecosystem encompassing points, VIP tiers, referrals, and even memberships, aiming to increase returning customer revenue across the entire customer journey. Its strength lies in its breadth of features and integration points, making it suitable for merchants seeking a holistic loyalty solution. It even offers B2B loyalty program capabilities and POS support. Propel Subscriptions App, on the other hand, concentrates specifically on simplifying and optimizing subscription-based sales. It streamlines the process of offering recurring subscriptions, prioritizing easy setup and customer self-service through a customer portal and customizable notifications. While Love Loyalty Program & Rewards aims to reward various customer behaviors and create a sense of belonging, Propel Subscriptions App concentrates on making subscription management effortless for both the merchant and the customer. Love Loyalty Program & Rewards boasts a higher rating (5/5) and a larger number of reviews (214) compared to Propel Subscriptions App's 4.9/5 rating and 188 reviews, suggesting potentially wider adoption or higher user satisfaction. However, the choice between the two hinges on whether the merchant's primary goal is to implement a broad loyalty program or to effectively manage and grow subscription sales. A key differentiator is Love Loyalty Program's inclusion of memberships features, giving stores the flexibility of offering recurring payments outside of typical subscriptions.
