Our Verdict
For merchants looking to build a comprehensive loyalty program with diverse engagement activities, Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral is the stronger choice. Its emphasis on UGC and customizable missions provides more flexibility and control over the customer experience. However, if a merchant's primary goal is to align their brand with social causes and attract customers through charitable giving, Shop & Support by Little Phil is a more suitable option. Its simplicity and focus on donations make it easy to implement and communicate the brand's commitment to social responsibility. The choice depends entirely on the merchant's core values and desired customer engagement strategy. The low review count for Shop & Support may warrant further investigation before committing.
Common Questions
Which app provides more ways to engage customers?
Loyoly offers over 40 different missions, providing significantly more options for customer engagement compared to Shop & Support, which focuses solely on donation incentives.
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim easy and fast setup, but without specific data on merchant experiences, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier. Loyoly claims a 3-minute setup, while Shop & Support claims to be live in minutes.
Which app is better for collecting customer reviews?
Loyoly explicitly mentions collecting customer reviews as part of its mission library, making it the better choice for merchants prioritizing review generation.
Which app helps a merchant stand out from the competition?
Loyoly argues that standard loyalty programs are all the same, and that Loyoly's unique and customizable program helps brands stand out. Shop & Support can help a brand stand out by supporting particular charities and aligning with causes a merchant's customers care about.
Is it possible to use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, it's technically possible to use both apps. However, merchants should carefully consider whether the two approaches align with their overall brand strategy and avoid overwhelming customers with too many incentives.
