Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to simplify the login process, reduce password-related friction, and proactively engage customers with automated notifications, Lucent ‑ OTP Login & Notify is the better choice. Its focus on OTP authentication and notification delivery provides a smoother customer experience and enhances communication. However, if the primary goal is to strictly control which customers have access to prices, 'add to cart' buttons, or even store content, especially for B2B or membership-based businesses, Singleton | Verify Customers offers a more robust solution for customer validation and access management. Singleton's ability to customize registration forms and approve/decline customers based on tags provides greater control and security.
