Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a hands-off solution to maintain competitive pricing by automatically adjusting to competitor actions, Lurk Competitor Price Tracking is the clear choice. Its 'no configuration required' approach simplifies price optimization. However, the limited number of reviews in 2026 should be considered. On the other hand, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is better suited for merchants who want to actively manage and schedule sales and discount campaigns, prioritizing promotional bursts to drive sales volume. The higher review count suggests greater community validation.
Ultimately, the choice hinges on the merchant's preferred pricing strategy: automated competitor-driven pricing versus merchant-controlled promotional discounts. Consider the long-term pricing goals and the desired level of active involvement in pricing decisions.
