Lury: Make an Offer vs NOBYfor Shopify (2026)
Lury: Make an Offer and NOBY are both Shopify apps that aim to enhance the customer experience, but they take drastically different approaches. Lury focuses on enabling customers to negotiate prices through a 'make an offer' system, while NOBY is designed for automated novelty or giveaway item distribution based on pre-defined conditions. Lury is geared towards merchants looking to increase sales by allowing price flexibility and automating negotiation, potentially capturing more price-sensitive customers. NOBY, conversely, is aimed at merchants who want to offer incentives (like gifts or promotional items) to encourage purchases and improve customer loyalty, particularly within the Japanese market given its origin and described focus.

Our Verdict
Based on the limited information available, Lury: Make an Offer appears to be the better choice for merchants seeking a solution to potentially close sales with price-sensitive shoppers through automated negotiations. The few reviews available are positive. NOBY, while promising an intuitive interface for managing giveaways, currently lacks any user reviews or ratings, and its primary language is Japanese suggesting it might not be as immediately accessible or relevant to a broad range of international Shopify merchants. If a merchant is specifically targeting the Japanese market with a loyalty-driven strategy centered around giveaways, and is comfortable with a new app, NOBY could be a viable option to explore, but with caution due to the lack of social proof. For all other use cases, Lury is the safer bet given its rating and description.
