Lury: Make an Offer vs Resell Pro ‑ collect bidsfor Shopify (2026)
Lury: Make an Offer and Resell Pro ‑ collect bids both aim to enhance sales through customer-initiated pricing, but they approach this goal with distinct strategies. Lury focuses on a 'make an offer' model, where customers propose prices for products, and merchants use automated rules to accept, decline, or counter. Resell Pro, on the other hand, implements a bidding system, enabling customers to compete for the best deals by placing bids on products. Lury positions itself as a conversion booster, emphasizing automation and revenue optimization, while Resell Pro aims to create a dynamic marketplace experience with customer-driven pricing. Lury's strength lies in its automation capabilities and features like exit-intent popups and single-use codes designed to convert browsers into buyers. It appears to target merchants who want to offer targeted discounts and avoid blanket price reductions. Resell Pro targets merchants who are interested in a bidding approach and may attract a different type of buyer looking for competitive deals. The primary distinction is the control the merchant has. Lury enables auto-accept/decline ranges; Resell Pro lets customers bid freely, and the merchant then responds to those bids. Based on the available data, Lury seems to have a more refined and feature-rich offering, focusing on optimization, while Resell Pro is at a basic level.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Lury: Make an Offer appears to be the stronger choice for most merchants in 2026. Its 5-star rating and focus on automation, targeted discounts, and conversion optimization suggest a more mature and effective solution. Merchants who want to implement a 'make an offer' strategy with minimal manual effort will likely find Lury more appealing. The lack of reviews for Resell Pro ‑ collect bids and the absence of advanced features make it a less compelling option.
However, Resell Pro could be a viable option for merchants specifically seeking a pure bidding system or those who want a simpler, code-free solution to collect customer bids. It may also suit merchants willing to manually review and manage bids. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's specific needs, technical expertise, and desired level of automation.
